Beaches in Bénodet

Four beaches and a stunning backdrop… Bénodet is a great place to relax in the sun !
Trez beach located in the town centre is Bénodet’s main beach. This south-facing beach is supervised during the summer and offers plenty of activities for families including a children’s clubs and watersports. You can also hire a beach hut.
The more initimate Coq lighthouse beach where you can soak up the last rays of sunshine of the day is located at the foot of the Odet river, a stone’s throw from the old harbour.
St Gilles beach is a sandy beach surrounded by rocks, ideal if you are a fan of shore fishing for shellfish, shrimp and crabs.
Letty beach, known as the « white sea » beach (Mer Blanche), is a naturally preserved lagoon offering splendid views.

Walks in Bénodet

There are some lovely walks to enjoy in Bénodet particularly along the corniche circuit. This path winds its way all aound the coast and offers spectacular views along the way.
At the old harbour you can hop on a passenger ferry and take a trip down the Odet river or head for the Glénan islands, known as the carribean of Brittany ! If you cross the Cornouaille bridge which links Bénodet and Saint Marine, stop and take in the stunning panoramic view over the Odet.
